What Dubplate Society is

Dubplate Society is an online marketplace for independent digital dubplates, exclusive digital releases and dubpacks.

The platform exists to give independent artists a focused place to offer rare digital audio directly to buyers without pretending that every release belongs in a mass catalogue. Artists can prepare public drops, private share links and curated vaults for releases that need more control.

Dubplate Society is currently in private beta and is onboarding founding artists before opening the public marketplace for purchasing.

Marketplace role

Dubplate Society provides marketplace, delivery and account tools. It is not the copyright owner of every artist upload. Artists and rights-holders remain responsible for owning or controlling the rights to the music, artwork, metadata and other material they upload.

Payments and artist onboarding

Payments and artist onboarding are handled through Stripe and Stripe Connect. Artists must complete the relevant Stripe onboarding requirements before they can receive proceeds from sales.
