Trust and control
Rights stay clear. Delivery stays digital.
Artists control what they release and must own or control the rights required for uploaded music. Buyers receive digital audio access, not automatic copyright ownership.
Payments use Stripe. Files are delivered digitally. Watermarked delivery helps protect artist work.
Admin-only exceptional remedies may apply for duplicate charges, confirmed payment errors, verified delivery failures, fraud or account compromise, or legal requirements.

Is this vinyl?
No. Dubplate Society sells digital audio. No physical shipping is involved.
Do I need an account to buy?
Yes. Guest Checkout is not supported when purchasing opens.
When can I buy?
The marketplace is currently in private beta and is not yet publicly open for purchasing.
Are purchases refundable?
Digital audio purchases are final except where non-excludable rights or exceptional administrative remedies apply.
How do artists get paid?
Approved artists complete Stripe Connect onboarding and receive proceeds through Stripe Connect.
Can any artist upload?
No. Artist approval is manual during private beta.
What is a private vault?
A private release area where an artist can share curated access outside a public catalogue.
What is a Founding Artist?
An approved artist programme where the first five qualifying sales are fee-free.
What genres are accepted?
The focus is independent dance, bass, dubplate and club-adjacent music, with applications reviewed individually.
